VACANCY FOR TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING POSITIONS!

Following the license by the Federal Executive Council for the establishment of the University on the Niger and the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence academic activities in the 20 programmes of the University with effect from the 2023/2024 session, we are currently seeking exceptionally qualified staff with outstanding integrity and demonstrable leadership qualities to join our team in pioneering the University.

ACADEMIC POSITIONS IN:

Faculty of Allied Health Sciences

  1. Physiotherapist (Teaching and Practicing)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Senior Lecturer

Candidates for appointment to the rank of a Senior Lecturer must possess Ph.D in the relevant subject area with at least eight (8) years of teaching, research , community service and professional experience in a university  or any other tertiary research-oriented institution. He/She must have a record of not less than 15 journal publications in reputable local and international journals indexed by Thompson Reuters and Scopus. Candidates should show evidence of evidence of postgraduate supervision, conference participation, online visibility, and ability to initiate and develop research. The candidate must be willing to initiate and develop courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and must be able to supervise postgraduate students in his/her area of discipline. In addition, candidate must demonstrate evidence of academic leadership, evidence of team work as well as administrative experience in working with interdisciplinary groups.

Lecturer II

Candidate for direct appointment to the rank of Lecturer II must possess a Ph.D in the relevant subject areas. ICT proficiency is required.

NON-TEACHING POSITIONS IN:

Salaries and conditions of service are as approved by the University Management and are attractive.
